I don't think the rest of my week was anything to brag about in all honesty... It was filled with preparing for a rather important test, avoiding the word "midterm", promoting my dance troupe's party here on campus, and an obscene amount of food. Tonight though was a surprise party for a teammate on the other dance team I'm on. I was wearing a pretty casual outfit all day, the white tee and khakis, but decided to go all black for the party. After multiple attempts with my Polaroid, I got this picture out of it. The night ended rather unfortunately but well, that's how some things just are.

Everything thrifted but River Island socks

I didn't know this song was by Mary J. Blige! I literally love her and have loved her for such a long time. Anyway, today was one of those days where you don't particularly know what mood you're in? I think it might've been a pretty decent day but I can't be too sure. I really loved this outfit though, this week has been so nonchalant because I didn't plan my outfits. That may be why I'm not too thrilled this week. But I came up with this one on the whim and it turned out to be something I actually adore. This plus my American Apparel forest green cape, which I just found out actually has pockets it made my fucking night, was a perfect outfit for a day that felt a tad like autumn.

Yesterday I celebrated one of my dear friends' birthday at an Italian family restaurant Carmine's. I will never be going there again because of their dinner style, large portions that have to be split between people but only a maximum of like five but you can't split the check and exception exception exception. The chicken Parmesan was literally just chicken, pay extra if you would like pasta but oh yeah, the price of the four chicken breasts alone was $30... I didn't even take a picture of my food for goodness sake. Needless to say, they won't be seeing me again.

Everything thrifted but Primark canvases

One of my pet peeves are people who do entirely too much all the time. In person, and my online persona I suppose, is a very laid back, nonchalant person who's easily annoyed but also has a big presence. I don't do a lot but I have the ability to command a room, plus people think I'm funny or something alike so it's not hard for me to make a lasting impression. I think I have an interesting mindset and view on life, decisions, and people themselves. It's fun getting into my psyche.
