International Style

Hello all! I want to spotlight a lady or an heir, that has caught our eyes here at SOAL.
I present to you Sheikha Mozah of Qatar, or Her Highness Mazah. As the second of the three wives of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Mozah wears her crown well. I originally discovered an outfit of hers on tumblr and was intrigued. Her style is so elegant and amazing. She also does great public service work with UNESCO and other organization, but her personal style catches the eye. She is known for transforming fashion pieces and tailoring them to Qatari regulations.
I present your highness!

Je vous embrasse,
Sade

Goodbye?

Today was my final time seeing my friends before the hectic, time-consuming work of orientation and finally moving into my dorm. It's actually quite insane to imagine that these are my last days in my house, that I won't be sleeping in my bed in a couple of days... But for now I'm attempting to ignore that while I finish packing and hanging out with friends. So, today's festivities included Eggspectations, an incredible joint that sells eggs, poached, scrambled, anyway you do so please, and another trip to Old Ellicott City. I say another cause around this time last year I found myself there with my curly, blond haired friend also! ~das Shannon btw~ It was a great day, hot, and humid but hell, whatever. I also got to premiere my DIY boyfriend jeans and my Topshop flatforms. fabulous.

Pin you

In my adventures of attempting to see everybody that I actually care for before making my grand exit out of Maryland, I joined forces with my good friend Carlye, whom you may remember from my terrible photobooth pictures from our terrible Yearbook class days. ~alright it wasn't that bad after I found someone else who equally despised it and was willing to complain just as loudly as me. In any case, we were supposed to go rollerskating but apparently "gospel sunday" interfered with the time closing schedule so we somehow found ourselves in the same bowling alley of my little brother's birthday party. Y'know, in case you recognize it. Our other friend never showed, but we definitely made the best out of it, finding ourselves laughing hysterically over the far too expensive meal prices, One Direction playing on the stereos, and my jokes about there being no loophole to get into heaven..~don't ask. I really cherish nights like these.

The final days

[photos never posted from my layaway in Copenhagen]

Ever since my return I've been the hottest commodity! I'm serious, I've been the busiest in all of my life. I've never stepped out of the house to go somewhere other than the grocery or thrift store ever. Shopping for school is incredibly exhausting and surprisingly the same goes for seeing friends and packing. The bright side in all of this is how many times I get to pair "last time I see you for three months" outfits. I'm terrible, I know. ~anywho I've had a lot of fun so far but my room currently looks like a site from one of the world wars; it's going to be hard to continue to ignore this mess.

End of the rope

As I embark my final days of the United Kingdom, I find myself rifling through my triumphs at work and also my clothing difficulties. Like I have previously expressed, it was hard ~to say the least to adhere to the unspoken rule of thumb(s) for an extended period of time. I ended up reusing so many items that the span between the wearing neared a time period I've never been comfortable with. In any case, I can now say that I did it and I succeeded. ~I still can't see myself primarily shopping for office clothes. That seems like such an unfortunate ending~. So dive into my life these past two months and indulge in my Italian ventures.
