I'm not really sure if I've ever truly expressed my love for badgal RiRi on here before but in person she's a woman I can say I talk about all the time. I adore her. Moving on; today was sort of surreal. I was in this absolutely amazing mood. It was very strange. I really loved my outfit today though; these dance pants are the most amazing things in the world. I know I've spoken on this before but they really remind me of AA's disco pants! But cheaper! They literally slide on like a glove and are pretty decent to style. I really wanted to wear a shorter jacket to show off the pretty curves of the pants but the longer cardi just balanced out the extremity of the wonderful thrift-find top so it just worked.

Oh, great news: SOAL will be revamping! I know we've been dropping hints on big things to come but it really will be pretty massive. I'm a terrible sketcher but I think I'll try to start some things online so I can give the sneak previews. Just know that it's a great look into apparel with a touch of grungey/ethereal accessories. 04.09.13. Remember that date.

Looks like this awards show outfit recap post is going to be really late. Apologies, haha I just haven't gotten to it. We were supposedly going to get a "blizzard" today... I swear it was like fairy dust out there. I'm surprised they still cancelled school; I think they cancelled it because of the predictions for later on in the day that didn't even occur! But anyway I got really inspired today from pictures that I grabbed a really long time ago. I meant to post them but I never got the chance, so enjoy.

Today was actually a moderate day. I slowly feel myself getting back to my old self. I don't know, I feel as though the stress of dance, college, scholarships, and my home life just caused me to morph into someone who's always a little on edge. Someone who only smiles when absolutely necessary which is completely opposite of me. In the moment I think it's really hard but when I think about I don't think it was all that bad... I've considered that I'm a melodramatic person, but then I'm like, nah that's not it! Haha, anyway, I just want to be somebody that I'm comfortable being. I don't want to be a sour-puss, especially not when I'm college-bound. It's almost Spring...new leaves are turning (literally, ha!)

I really loved my outfit to church today so I decided to do a mainstream mirror pic, lol not that I care. Anyway, I loved it so much that when my mom and I went shopping alls I did was throw on some denim and comfy shoes and I was outtie. Here are the things I got. I was assisting my mother at the thrift, but who knew that she'd leave and I'd still be there shopping by the time she came back to get me. Oh my goodness, the lady who checked me out was the absolute sweetest. I wanted some items but I really didn't even want to spend the money I brought with me, so she took the items that weren't half off and made all of them half off. Kindness people, plain kindness. 

Oh, and those gold plated cuffs you see around my wrists? They're actually for your ankles and will be available at SOAL in April! The re-launch date details will be brought to you very soon.

P.S. We placed at our competition last night! Meaning we are indeed going to States this year. Thank you Jesus. The season remains for two more weeks!
